Jill Gardner, a musician and singer with strong roots in church music, opera and directing, is the new director of music ministries at Main Street United Methodist Church. Gardner was the assistant music director at the church for the past year and succeeds Nancy Blakemore, who was the director for 17 years. “I think I can say Nancy is a big reason why I am at Main Street United Methodist. She hired me a year ago and knew I had a big background in directing.
